Fort Rucker, Alabama – ECHO DCL is pleased to announce the successful completion of a 9,731 sq. ft. 16-chair Modular Dental Clinic. ECHO DCL provided a full turnkey design/build project through J & J Maintenance. The complete turnkey construction of this Modular Clinic included foundation, delivery, set-up, fire alarm/mass notification, fire sprinkler system to meet NFPA 13 and UFC, interior building communications, site and building water, fire water, sewer and electric, gutters, awnings, decks, steps and ramps, all air and vac for the dental chairs and Medintech flooring in the DTR’s. This building serves as the dental clinic while the permanent facility is undergoing major renovations. The ECHO DCL team mobilized on May 7, 2011 and celebrated an early completion of the project to the customer’s satisfaction on June 16, 2011. An ECHO DCL Superintendent was present from Start to Finish.
Fort Rucker is a U.S. Army post located mostly in Dale County, Alabama. It was named for a Civil War Officer, Confederate General Edmund Rucker. The post is the primary flight training base for Army Aviation and is home to the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) and the United States Army Aviation Museum. The USAACE is the dominant military facility at Fort Rucker. Training, doctrine, and testing are all key parts of the Centers Mission to develop Army Aviation’s capabilities. All Army Aviation training has been undertaken at Fort Rucker since 1973, as well as training of the US Air Force and ally helicopter pilots.
