ECHO DCL completed the design and construction of three modular Traumatic Brain Injury Facilities for a total of 13,843 square feet. Scope of work included design, engineering, and manufacturing. HVAC systems were designed to comply as a Transition Medical Space with UFC 4-510-01 Design: Medical Military Facilities & UFC 4-010-01 DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings. This includes proper air changes and pressurization per room, unit modifications for air intake height and emergency shutdown of the HVAC system. Complete turnkey construction included delivery, set-up, fire alarm/mass notification, nurse call, site and building communications, site and building water, sewer and electric, sidewalks, gutters, awnings, decks, steps and ramps. This building serves as the new rehab clinic space for the soldiers of Fort Hood. ECHO DCL from mobilization completed all work and turned the buildings over to the customer in thirty-six days. An ECHO DCL Superintendent was present from Start to Finish.
The ECHO DCL team designed three modular traumatic brain injury clinics that were each approximately 4,600 sq. ft. in size for a total of 13,843 sq. ft. ECHO DCL manufactured the modular buildings to DoD minimum anti-terrorism standards among many other specific requirements including special air pressurization and handling. ECHO DCL also provided full turnkey services including fire alarm/mass notification, site and building communications, site and building water/sewer/electric, sidewalks, gutters, awnings, steps, decks and ramps. From the time the ECHO DCL team mobilized until the project was completed was 36 days.
